Images of Herring Gulls seen 24 and 25 November 2017 at the isle of Terschelling. Many Scandinavian Herring Gulls were present, outnumbering the local European Herring Gulls.
Most ringed Herring Gulls were from Norway and Germany.
Three gulls from Russia were also present. These are normally hard to beat as the highlight of the day, but an even rarer sighting of a Polish ring was definately at the very top of the list.
Another highlight was seeing one of our project gulls from the IJmuiden Forteiland colony.
