Images of a striking first-calendar year Herring Gull in leucistic, brown aberration, plumage.
I came across it at the landfill of Blaringhem, France, during the week of 10 -14 September 2018.
It reminded me a lot of a very similar bird that I saw at the Barneveld waste dump, The Netherlands, October 2011:
