Male Herring Gull YBKL was again successful in raising young.
Female Herring Gull YCNX in pristine plumage.
Fourth-calendar year Herring Gull YCDZ.
Male Lesser Black-backed Gull YBXS unfortunately didn’t make it till the end of the season and was found dead in July on a nearby beach.
Fourth-calendar year Lesser Black-backed Gull YCMR made a nice return, as did its sibling YCMS. We saw both of them grow up from a small chick to a large juvenile in 2017.
